About vendor

The first iPhone case UAG developed was for the iPhone 4, and featured UAG’s signature pattern, inspired by jerry cans.

Jerry cans were first popularized during World War II, made of pressed steel to create rigidity and strength while remaining lightweight to transport liquids like gas and water to troops.

UAG includes its own now-iconic version of the jerry can design to invoke this sense of high-quality, military-grade strength that has come to represent UAG.

Urban Armor Gear cases are designed and engineered to provide maximum protection for your smartphone, while maintaining convenience and access to all of its features. Each UAG case has been independently tested and certified in accordance with the US military standard MIL STD 810G 516.6, which guarantees maximum protection against shock and drops. UAG Metropolis Series provides 360° protection. A soft rubber cover protects the screen, and a special mount with hidden magnets keeps the phone from accidental opening. The inside of the cover has a small hole for a payment card or driver's license. The polymers used to make the case are pleasant to the touch and have an anti-slip effect, which will reduce the likelihood of accidental drops.
